Neat and new-fashioned room with reasonably large bathroom. Chocolate, coffee, milk, toast, and jam at breakfast. A neat building in the centre of Windermere.

Good hot breakfasts, hotel was kept spotless.

The location was beautiful - within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. Plus, it was really close to pubs, restaurants and shops, further afield and restaurants and shops and even doctors services and laundry services.

It has nicely furnished and brand-new rooms with central heating, an iron and ironing board, and tea/coffee making equipment. The food is fab and the breakfast was hot. The location is magnificent and beautiful, as the hotel is based easy to walk to lake or further afield. The staff are amicable, and the host too.

Absolutely outstanding overall experience. Spotless property, amiable and excellent staff. Fantastic view of the mountain, new-fashioned & large room. A great selection of products for a delicious breakfast. The location in the heart of the city. Also - right by nearby towns Bowness and Ambleside, and Windermere train station which is easily to get there and convenient to go to the other town by bus.

Overall it was well-equipped and a nice size with a beautiful view. The staff was helpful and the host too. The setting of hotel was comfortable and ideal, to me everything was perfect.

The location met the needs, it was comfortable on the Lakes. What's more, it was right by restaurants and shops and even doctors services and laundry services, Lake District and the windermere train station.

The room was compact & brand-new with a mountain view, had free Wi-Fi. The location itself was very convenience and ideal, around 4-6 minutes away by foot from Christian Science Church. The service was absolutely excellent.

The staff were excellent and helpful, as for 4-stars hotel. The property was in the heart of the city. And it was also just next door to the Archway Guesthouse as well as other Lake District attractions.

I had a fantastic stay at this 4-star hotel in Windermere. The location was perfect, right at the heart of the town center, with plenty of local restaurants just a stone's throw away. The service and housekeeping were outstanding, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing assistance with tours and tickets. The room amenities were top-notch, with ironing facilities, heating, and a cozy sitting area. I loved the complimentary toiletries and the convenience of having an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV in the room. The hotel also had a beautiful garden area and a leisure/TV room, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The breakfast provided was delicious and there were even board games available for entertainment. I had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend this place to friends.

Our stay at Archway Guest House was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Anita and Denis, who made us feel right at home. The location of the guest house is perfect, just a short distance from the train station and close to all the attractions in the area. Our room had a stunning view of the mountains, and we enjoyed the homemade cookies that were provided. The breakfast selection was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Anita and Denis were incredibly knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations for places to visit. we had a wonderful experience at Archway Guest House and would highly recommend it.
